A decentralized community focuses on ecosystem regeneration in Brazil through transparent governance and agroecological practices, using Gardens v2 and Groweco tokens for collective decision-making and project implementation.

GreenPill Brasil: Empowering Regeneration with Gardens v2 and Growecosystems

GreenPill Brasil is a decentralized community focused on ecosystem regeneration through collective governance and agroecological practices. We believe that by working together, we can make a real impact by restoring biodiversity, promoting sustainable land use, and empowering local communities. Through Gardens v2, we will implement transparent decision-making processes, allowing the community to actively participate in planning and executing regenerative projects across Brazil.

Project Mission and Purpose:

Our mission is to reverse environmental degradation through community-driven regenerative projects. By combining decentralized technology with agroecological knowledge, we create solutions to restore landscapes, protect native species, and engage communities. GreenPill Brasil Community, powered by the Groweco token and Gardens v2, will activate collective intelligence allowing for every member an active role in our governance and making clear the tangible impact of their contributions.

Regen Campaigns:

Our campaigns are the core of GreenPill Brasil’s regenerative efforts. Through Gardens v2, the community will collaborate to decide which projects to focus on. Some of our ongoing and upcoming campaigns include:

  • Biodiversity Conservation and Restoration: Contribute to the control of invasive species and the restoration of native vegetation by identifying and mapping areas that need regeneration. gardenasses.png
  • Community Agroforestry: Join or organize agroforestry initiatives, workshops, and events. Help establish community agroforests that improve biodiversity and provide sustainable resources. photo-4954332234811289510-y.jpg
  • Native Bee Habitat Creation: Participate in projects to plant aromatic gardens and build habitats for native bees, including creating traps and beehive boxes for bee conservation. bees3.png

Roles

At GreenPill Brasil, members can have different roles that directly contribute to the success of our regenerative campaigns.

  • Explorer: Help identify and map areas for planting, community workshops, and events. Explorers also map degraded areas and identify potential sites for agroforestry, ecological restoration, or aromatic gardens. This role is essential in scouting and planning key locations for regeneration. garden1.png
  • Alchemist: Analyze data and transform it into practical strategies that guide our regenerative actions. Alchemists validate events, analyze data from areas identified for restoration, and create priority schedules for the implementation of projects like agroforests or aromatic gardens. • Agent: Participate directly in field actions, such as tree planting, invasive species management, bee habitat creation, and organizing community agroforestry projects, workshops, and events. Agents are the hands-on force behind executing projects on the ground. photo-4954332234811289495-y.jpg As members progress, they can take on more responsibilities, such as proposing and leading campaigns or mentoring new members.

How We Will Use Gardens v2:

GreenPill Brasil will build its core operational infrastructure on Gardens v2, focusing on the following key areas:

Decentralized Governance and Voting:

  • We will use the conviction voting system in Gardens v2 to decide on resource allocation, project prioritization, and community signaling. All community members will have the opportunity to vote using Groweco tokens.
  • Each decision will be transparent and recorded onchain, ensuring that the community can see how resources are allocated and which projects are prioritized.
  • Members will also be able to propose new campaigns.

Milestone-Based Tracking (via Karma GAP):

Major milestones for GreenPill Brasil will be tracked via Karma GAP to ensure transparency and accountability throughout the governance process. These milestones include:

  • Initial Onboarding and Community Setup: Onboarding members into Gardens v2, staking Groweco tokens, and engaging them in decision-making.
  • Governance Optimization: Continuously improving the voting mechanisms within Gardens v2 to ensure the efficient execution of multiple regenerative projects.
  • Creation of 5 Signaling Pools: Allowing the community to signal support for key projects by participating in signaling pools.
  • Creation of 3 Funding Pools: Establishing funding pools to allocate resources for high-priority projects based on community voting.

Token Integration (Groweco):

The Groweco token will serve as a governance tool, rewarding contributions and incentivizing engagement. Participants who vote, contribute to campaigns, or complete key tasks will earn tokens, which can be staked to enhance voting power. This token integration within Gardens v2 creates a fluid economy that supports decision-making and resource allocation for regenerative projects.

Token Distribution and Experimentation:

  • Non-Financial Token: The Groweco token will serve as a governance utility token, with no financial association. It will allow for experimentation in community-driven governance and decision-making.
  • Airdrop Strategy: Groweco tokens will be distributed via an airdrop to all communities that want to join GreenPill Brasil, ensuring that governance participation starts from day one.
  • Layered Expansion: As we grow, peer-to-peer exchanges and additional token utilities will be developed to support community-driven collaboration and project funding.

Project Goals:

  • Seamless Governance on Gardens v2: Build a governance structure that allows the community to efficiently make decisions and implement large-scale regenerative projects.
  • Groweco Token Integration: Fully integrate the Groweco token into the governance model, ensuring that it supports both participation and resource allocation for regenerative actions.

Contribution to Gardens v2 Ecosystem:

  • Improving Governance Models: By using and testing Gardens v2, we will provide valuable feedback to improve the decentralized governance framework.
  • Building Open Source Tools: All governance tools we develop will be made open-source, allowing other communities to replicate and build upon our structure.
  • Expanding User Adoption: Our goal is to onboard new users and local communities into Gardens v2, teaching them how to engage with decentralized governance for collective action.

Impact and Community Engagement:

  • Active Community on Gardens v2: We will have a fully active community on Gardens v2, with ongoing voting.
  • User Growth: We aim to grow the community by offering Groweco tokens as rewards and educating new members on how to participate in governance.
  • Scalability: Our model is scalable, allowing other communities to replicate it and apply the GreenPill Brasil approach to their own contexts.

Request for Funding:

Funding will be used for:

  • Governance Operations: Developing and maintaining of the governance structure. Setting up pools, ensuring allignment between proposals and our community covenant.
  • Community Onboarding and Engagement: Hosting workshops to teach about *Gardens, how to participate, propose and manage campaigns.
  • Rewards: Rewarding participants for active engagement on governance and on campaigns.

Long-Term Vision:

  • Nationwide Regeneration: Expand the GreenPill Brasil model to cover more regions, applying decentralized governance models to various ecosystems and communities.
  • Innovation within Gardens v2: Continue refining the governance model to better support large-scale projects and integrate advanced tracking systems.
  • Global Collaboration: Use GreenPill Brasil as a model for decentralized governance driving ecosystem regeneration.
