Projects must be associated with a metacrisis vertical (nuclear disarmament, biosecurity, weaponized drones, grid fragility, biodiversity collapse, etc) and/or horizontal topic area/generator function (multipolar traps, perverse incentives, plausible deniability, etc).
LunCo: complex systems design project is focused on lowering the cost and barriers to space engineering, which includes designing and operating systems like solar power stations in space, potentially reducing reliance on Earth-based resources and mitigating global resource scarcity, one aspect of the metacrisis. The project also indirectly addresses metacrisis verticals by providing tools that could be used to monitor and improve biosecurity and biodiversity through applications like remote agriculture robots or designing life support systems for extra-terrestrial habitats.
