The Learning Environment project is place-based, located on 178 acres in Whanganui, Aotearoa New Zealand, and demonstrates clear regenerative activities. These include the growth and planting of eco-sourced native trees, establishment and cultivation of a diverse foodscape, control of invasive species, reconnection to land care, and establishing learning opportunities around regeneration. The focus on community education and wellbeing alongside ecological restoration satisfies the requirement for ecosystem health, community well-being, and restoration.
