Citizen Grants RFP’s Eligibility
Citizen Grants RFP’s aim to grow the usability of Gitcoin’s ecosystem, making Gitcoin a leader in the space again, and strengthening the feedback loop between value creation and value capture. The program aims to fund projects that leverage Gitcoin's tools and tech stack across various roles. It seeks: - Program Managers trained in Gitcoin's tools to pilot and run funding rounds. - Innovators introducing novel funding mechanisms on the Allo platform. - Developers building or enhancing Gitcoin's tech stack to solve specific challenges. - Researchers and Educators who provide valuable insights, tools, or educational resources to strengthen Gitcoin's offerings and ecosystem knowledge. The program is dedicated to driving impactful contributions that advance Gitcoin’s mission and community growth. Through the RFP program, Gitcoin core contributors will post Request For Proposals, outlining the needs of what Gitcoin would actively like to see built.
Requirements
- Alignment with Gitcoin Ecosystem - Projects must align with the Gitcoin ecosystem and contribute to its growth and development. - Proposals should focus on one or more of the following themes: -- Program Managers trained in Gitcoin's tools to pilot and run funding rounds. -- Innovators introducing novel funding mechanisms on the Allo platform. -- Developers building or enhancing Gitcoin's tech stack to solve specific challenges. -- Researchers and Educators who provide valuable insights, tools, or educational resources to strengthen Gitcoin's offerings and ecosystem knowledge.
- Contribute to Innovation and Ecosystem Growth - Projects should showcase innovative ideas, technologies, or approaches that have the potential to impact the Gitcoin ecosystem. - Proposals should articulate the project's expected outcomes and benefits.
- Reporting and Communication - Projects must commit to providing regular progress updates and maintaining open communication with the Gitcoin community through Karma GAP.
