Agrilla Enterprises is a social and commercial enterprise dedicated to catalyzing job creation for the youth through Galla goat rearing and value addition. Aligned with Kenya’s Vision 2030, which emphasizes livestock value addition as a key strategy to raise rural household incomes, Agrilla seeks to address the challenges faced by farmers, who form the backbone of Kenya’s economy but are currently hindered by an outdated and disorganized market system.

Agrilla aims to encourage income generation in rural homes, promoting financial independence and stability among the youth. The enterprise is also integrating an innovative blockchain decentralized application (DApp) to track the health and well-being of goats, enhancing transparency and traceability in livestock management. This blockchain project is currently in its early stages, with promising potential to revolutionize rural agribusiness and contribute to sustainable economic growth.
