The Commons Economy Roadmap (CER) is a research and promotion protocol to highlight and empower what we consider to be among the most relevant 20 projects in the current economic juncture: companies and ecosystems that are building open infrastructures to regenerate society, to support the struggle of citizens, farmers, activists, scientists, tech experts and entrepreneurs on the ground at the dawn of global collapse.

As we prepare to launch Iteration 2 on September 1st, we seek grant funding to do more and better of what our open collaborative research protocol roadmap entails.

Iteration 1 of the Commons Economy Roadmap has mostly achieved what we were planning to :

-Projects adhesion : a good number of projects contributed to IT1 proposal, allowing us to produce a corresponding number of Knowledge Elements.

-Community Engagement: Successfully engaged diverse communities and stakeholders through events and discussions.

-Feedback Mechanisms: Established continuous feedback loops to refine and improve our strategies and practices.

Objectives of Iteration 2

Building on the successes and lessons of Iteration 1, Iteration 2 aims to:

-Increase the project base from 20 to 32 featured projects

-Broaden the contributors set, research and media partners

-Working on the goal of having a fully decentralized governance for IT3

Implementation Timeline

Budget and Funding Requirements

Our funding model is quite simple, projects can contribute either 800 or 1500 euros in value and they get one or two Knowledge Elements (https://commonseconomy.notion.site/3b40774d789f452bb8bc1a372c8824ba?v=16f12c95eba344ebadcf1dff5d09ec72 ).

Still, we apply for grants like this to have extra income, as the work behind the production of knowledge is very time intensive and usually not reflected in the small contribution that we ask.
