Open-source API integrating various Ethereum name services, providing a universal resolver for wallet addresses and names, enhancing user experience and developer efficiency.

tl;dr: onchain name resolver API that is open source and free to use

Problem

There are multiple name services in the Ethereum ecosystem:

ENS, Avvy Domains on Avalanche, Optimism Name Service, Fantom Domains, Space ID on BNB Chain and Arbitrum, and Starknet ID to name a few EVM projects need to identify, integrate, and maintain each resolver library separately. The end-user experience is broken because onchain names are not consistently reflected in applications.

Solution

Everyname provide a free-to-use API that fetch wallet addresses and names from any blockchain name service. This solves a growing pain point for the Ethereum community.

Funding

We intend to:

  1. Integrate all known EVM name services into the Everyname API
  2. Research API performance improvements such as reducing latency and increasing uptime
  3. Implement hosted API optimizations and open source the codebase
