FUNDACIÓN SALVA TERRA:

"The Salva Terra Foundation is an entity with a vocation for the countryside that seeks to transform the way agriculture is approached. Its focus is on building the rural social fabric through generosity, passion and the application of applicable technical knowledge. The foundation works in collaboration with various sectors, including academic, union, productive, social and governmental, with the purpose of strengthening rural development in Colombia."

The Salva Terra Foundation is located in Colombia and develops projects in all corners of the country, focusing especially on Medellín and the department of Antioquia.

APPROACH

Its main focus is the promotion of organic agriculture, the social integration of rural communities, the commercialization of agricultural products and the development of capacities for sustainability, such as waste management and reforestation. In addition, they have collaborated in rural development and food security projects in association with public and private organizations at the national and international level.

The general objective of the Salva Terra Foundation is to transform the way agriculture is done and developed in the regions where it operates, focusing on strengthening rural development and creating a solid rural social fabric.

The foundation focuses on several specific objectives, including the promotion of organic agriculture, the social integration of rural communities, the promotion of the commercialization of agricultural products and the development of capacities for sustainability, such as waste management and reforestation.

IN THE PAST DONATION

With the past donation, the Salva Terra Foundation partners with ReFi Medellín to promote the use of digital wallets and develop a digital education ecosystem. It also strengthened urban gardens and carried out tree planting activities in collaboration with ReFi Medellín, creating an environment that promotes digital education and environmental sustainability. In addition, the resources were used to continue the development of projects that include comprehensive training in areas such as nutrition, socio-business, agricultural techniques and crop planning, support in food security gardens, management and protection of the environment through the planting of trees and environmental awareness, as well as the training of producers and the Campesinos project, among others.

ith the funds raised in this round, the Salva Terra Foundation intends to continue promoting projects aimed at strengthening organic gardens and planting trees. In addition, these resources will be used to continue promoting the use of digital technologies in harmony with sustainable agriculture. This initiative seeks not only to promote the production of healthy foods and environmental conservation, but also to promote the adoption of digital solutions that improve efficiency and knowledge in the communities served by the Salva Terra Foundation.
