One of the biggest problems experienced in web3 grant programs today is that a high percentage of the funding is distributed into the void. After a program ends most of the times there is no follow-up, leaving projects in “funding limbo”. While there are countless resources being spent on grants programs, there aren’t enough initiatives invested into grant program research, analysis and improvements.
The purpose of this proposal is to tackle these exact areas and create the most comprehensive grant program analysis in web3. This proposal outlines our approach to a few key areas: researching and developing best practices, program effectiveness, maturity frameworks, impact metrics for Web3 grant programs, and possibly incorporation of convex voting to enhance reputation systems. We will use a first principles approach when analyzing grant programs in web3.
