Texas non-profit ICDevs.org seeks grant to expand Ethereum Dapps scalability on the Internet Computer, offering funding for projects enhancing EVMs and EVM interoperability.

ICDevs.org is a Texas-based non-profit organization (registered as The Internet Computer Developers Education and Discovery Corporation) with the mission of promoting the use and development of the Internet Computer and related technologies. The organization operates independently from the DFINITY Foundation and the ICA, with the goal of further diversifying and decentralizing the Internet Computer ecosystem. Now that the IC has enabled t-ECDSA and can communicate with the Ethereum network directly, we are expanding our program to support Ethereum Dapps and Protocols scaling on the platform. We hope to publish these opportunities through gitcoin and support the community through grants and bounties.

We are seeking a grant to fund a new round of ETH and EVM scalability grants. To date we have funded over $100,000+ of bounties including:

evm-proof-verifier-motoko - Prove EVM proofs from motoko RLP-motoko-RLP encoding for motoko EVM_utils_ic-Rust Canister that performs EVM chain functions like signatures and proofs. evm-tx.mo - Building and Signing EVM transactions from motoko

We hope to fund projects that help the scalability of EVMs and turbo-charge the compute that can be leveraged by EVM based contracts. Examples

  • Rollups contracts and automation from IC Canisters
  • Scalable compute with EVM settlement.
  • Automated contract deployment and DAO management tools.
  • NFT bridging/upgrading and gas-less transactions
  • EVM Service integrations.

US Citizens that can prove their donation via a signature after the grant will receive a tax letter that can be filed for a 501c3 Tax Write off.
