What is Ledgerback?

A 501(c)(3) nonprofit research organization bridging the forefront of technology, governance, research, and innovation ("the frontier") and society by 1) cultivating literacy by advancing understanding and accessibility of cultures, discoveries, and technologies from the frontier, and 2) linking theory with practice by connecting people and projects to resources, funding, and each other.

Main Projects

Our main projects currently include:

1. Distroid: A digital catalogue and knowledge graph curating, mining, and expanding access to grey literature from the forefront of innovation, technology, governance, and science ("the frontier"), primarily through newsletters and interfaces.
2. Distributed Governance Score Framework: An open and participatory framework to enable organizations to measure how their organization aligns with Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAO) through a set of organizing principles and a shared language.
3. Moyo: A digital catalogue and knowledge graph curating, mining, and expanding access to learning content from the forefront of innovation, technology, governance, and science ("the frontier").
