Background: What are MyFirstLayer2, and why it matters?

MyFirstLayer2 is an educational project designed for beginners to learn and engage with Layer2 technology. Our target audience comprises individuals who are curious about Layer2 concepts and projects and seeking to gain knowledge from scratch. We will employ amusing and easily understandable diagrams and animations to familiarize newbies with Layer2 principles.

Problem

Layer2 technology can be technically complex and difficult for newcomers to comprehend. Without prior knowledge, many beginners find it daunting to understand Layer2 concepts and projects. Furthermore, various implementations of Layer2 exist, making selecting the appropriate encryption behavior a challenging task for newcomers.

Solution

Our primary objective is to promote awareness and understanding of Layer2 mechanisms and principles to a wider audience. We aim to connect more users and developers with the Layer2 ecosystem to enjoy its significant benefits.

The project comprises four main areas:

Website: By conducting extensive research, we utilize illustrations, interactions, animations, and content to convey complex concepts and enable more people to understand the technical principles of Layer2.

Community: Building upon the LXDAO Layer2 community, we aim to bring together more individuals interested in this technology, encouraging collective growth and participation in Layer2-related ecosystem development.

Events: We regularly organize educational Layer2 events, such as hackathons, Layer2 technology principle sharing sessions, and Layer2 experience meetings.

Ecosystem: We will construct our high-quality research content into electronic documents and distribute them widely to ensure easy access and reading. Additionally, we will offer online courses to deliver detailed explanations of the underlying technical principles.

MyFirstLayer2 aims to make the principles of this cutting-edge technology accessible to all. Through our efforts, we hope to promote the development of the entire ecosystem.

Current Progress

We have finished the first version of development, and published it on production.

Plans for Funding

Our funding will be allocated towards operations to provide high-quality layer2 content to our users for free. Our aim is to propagate Layer2 technology as a public good through community activities that promote awareness and understanding of the technology among blockchain enthusiasts.
