POAPathon’s mission is to inspire the world to connect, create, and educate. POAPathon enables this mission via paid design contests, on-demand entertainment, weekly live event productions, and collaborative, friendly, creative spaces. Activities are centered around creative design, Web3, NFTs, Defi and POAPs. POAPathon allows requesters to tap into a variety of talented artists to interpret their desired design into a POAP, other type NFTs, social media banners, logos, stamps, video advertisements, etc… POAPathon is listed as an official designer of POAPs on POAP.xyz!

POAPathon Projects

POAPathon would like to continue to establish itself as the primary outlet for Web3 products, artists, and creative designs. In order to accomplish this goal, we need to maintain our strong community with adequate funding. We can accomplish this by continuing our investments in the community while building new products, entertainment, and services that generate repeat revenue. Currently, POAPathon has demonstrated the ability to create income streams with projects such as:

POAPathon Design Services

POAPathon Design Contest Services was created to make it easy for anyone to request POAP designs, PFPs, NFTs, banners, mp4’s, logos, and infographs through a contest style format. The service went live in mid-December 2021 and provides an income stream of competitive design bounty requests ranging from $150 to a recent mp4 request with a 1st place bounty of $3,000. We have received steady demand for the service and continue to support winning artists through bounty rewards. This system guarantees artist’s engagement with unique and creative art designs for our requestors. Recent, notable and returning customers of the service have included BalancerDAO, Ethstaker, LanguageDAO, RocketPool, Nexus Mutual, ENSDAO, PeopleDAO and many more. POAPathon Design Services can be likened to the web2 service provided by 99designs, which was acquired by VistaPrint in 2020. 99 designs had $60M+ in annual revenue at the time of acquisition. POAPathon Design creates a strategic platform for design work that is better suited for contracting individual designers, as opposed to hiring an agency. Our intention is to continue encouraging artists who are active in the POAPathon community to engage with POAPathon, as well as Web3 design agencies for project-based work such as Bankless Design Guild and Amadeus Designs. The bulk of our initial investment in POAPathon will go toward building out POAPathon Design Service as a Web3 application which provides a more streamlined experience for end users. This build out will include adding support for Polygon Web3 escrow and payment services, email notifications and credit card payment for design requests to expand our total addressable market. Additional growth opportunities include scaling existing productions while investing in new productions lead by the POAPathon community.

POAPathon LIVE

POAPathon LIVE is a live entertainment show that is produced and hosted by the POAPathon community and features high energy POAP fun, side chats with NFT/Web3/POAP community notables, design competitions, and live entertainment/musical performances, at least one special POAP is always gifted during these live events. These weekly live shows follow a similar, though more condensed, format to the livestreams held during POAPathon events. We are monetizing the show by selling sponsorship packages similar to other media production services and will be adding to our current sponsorships. Who Benefits from POAPathon?

Web3/DeFi projects gain visibility and onboard new users POAPathon uses Web3 technology for sponsors to distribute award bounties to participants. In requiring this, we frequently onboard new users into the Ethereum ecosystem. We have plans to accelerate Web3 and Polygon usage by onboarding POAPathon participants onto the Polygon network.

Artists Gain a Creative Outlet and Visibility Artists have a place to connect and create. Artists are able to connect with other artists while sharing their experiences, ability to create while live streaming, learning new techniques and supporting each other through competitive design contests.
