Developing a comprehensive, documented, and tested SDK to simplify and accelerate the development of web and mobile apps using the AAVE protocol in React, featuring hooks, providers, and extensive documentation.

The definitive SDK to make the development of any web or mobile app on top of the AAVE protocol like a breeze.

Right now, there is no native and reactive devkit to interact with the AAVE protocol, requiring devs to spend different days to create their own abstractions to interact properly with AAVE's contracts.

For this reason, we're building a full documented, tested, and production ready SDK to dramatically reduce the time needed to develop a react dApp on top of the protocol.

To be specific:

  • React was chosen thanks to his versatility (web, mobile, SSR) and adoption in the crypto industry;
  • The SDK will include a suite of hooks and providers leveraging on react-query, providing configurable persistence, caching and automatic refetch out of the box;
  • Extensive documentation will be written both at a code level and in form of living documentation. This means having a working app for every major dev platform (Vite, Next.js, React-native) where we'll showcase every functionality with the SDK along with live data and working examples;
  • The SDK is going to rely on existing tools like aave/aave-utilities and bgd-labs/aave-address-book. This way it will be easier to be up to date with the latest developments from AAVE;
  • The SDK is going to implement all the market data, user data and Pool V3 methods of the aave-utilities;
  • It's going to be written in an easily expandable and maintainable way;

The funds earned trough the GG allocation round will be used to help covering the development and the future maintenance of the SDK
