Eligibility Requirements:

  1. Social Layer is founded by Chinese citizens Jiang and Eggy, our team of 6 is entirely composed of Chinese citizens.

  2. We are solving the coordination problem for pop up cities and intentional communities by designing modules that serve different coordination needs, see the Feature List session below for details.

Our Mission:

  • Growing Conditional Social Trust Through recording IRL attendance tracking we are establishing a web of trust among pop-up cities and intentional communities, Social Layer can help people remain connected while collaborating with different labs.
  • Bottom-up Community Curation The communities we serve create great containers that encourage collaborations and opportunities to spark new ideas. We created coordination tools that enable this culture to flourish.
  • Interconnect Communities to Build Network Societies (aka Coordi-Nations) By bringing our tools to multiple pop-up cities and permanent communities, we’re able to create greater interconnections between communities so they can share their networks, cross-pollinate, and evolve into a greater large-scale society composed of entangled local communities.
  • Rigorous 3rd Party Integration + Building for Interoperability We actively integrate from other 3rd party platforms in the ecosystem such as ZuPass. We collaborate with a range of protocols that are building for the permissionless decentralized internet.

Feature List:

  • Group calendar
  • Group map
  • P2P Badge verification system
  • USDT ticketing including following networks: Eth, Polygon, OP, Arbitrum, Base, and more to come
  • 3rd party log-in integration such as ZuPass
  • Community member social profile
  • in-app group posting & messaging
  • Email notifications of events

Real World Application: With successful implementations in Zuzalu-inspired pop-up cities like Edge Esmeralda, Vitalia, ZuConnect, ShanhaiWoo, Zanzalu, Wamotopia, we have demonstrated the versatility and impact of our infrastructure.

We have been actively integrating community feedback at these events, iterating our design by building deep relationships with our users and traveling alongside these events to gain deep insights into how they work.

We are planning to bring Social Layer to many more pop-up city events later this year, such as Gathering of Tribes, Builder Monastery, Shanhaiwoo ChiangMai, ETHSafari, Zuitzerland, Edge City Lanna, Devcon side events, ZuIndia, and many more.
