Web3 Community helping to push the Web3 space forward in the city of Washington DC.

Our proposed Web3 Community Education Program is focused on providing education and community building opportunities around web3 technology to our city. For almost one year, we have been growing the local web3 scene by bringing together the most diverse and culturally rich web3 community. Our events have focused in onboarding users, promoting local artists, educating about web3, and driving social charitable initiatives.

Workshops: We will host in-person workshops to teach people about web3 technology and best practices. These workshops will be tailored to the needs and interests of different communities, and will cover topics such as stable coins, blockchain 101, decentralized finance (DeFi), non-fungible tokens (NFTs), and Web3 wallets.

In-person events: We will host in-person events, such as conferences and networking events, to provide hands-on learning opportunities and connect people in the community. These events will be designed to be accessible and welcoming to all, regardless of background or experience.

Online meetups: We will host online meetups to provide ongoing education and support to our online community. These meetups will feature speakers, workshops, and networking opportunities, and will be accessible to anyone with an internet connection.

Newsletters: We will publish regular newsletters to share updates, news, and resources related to web3 technology. These newsletters will be tailored to the needs and interests of our community, and will be designed to be accessible and informative.

Hackathons: We will host hackathons to enable people to build projects using web3 tools and showcase their ideas. These hackathons will be designed to be accessible to people with different levels of experience and expertise, and will provide opportunities for networking and collaboration.

While other cities bring much value to the web3 ecosystem. DC is unique as it brings a city rich in culture within reach of the policy makers that will help shape Web3 into mass adoption.
