agriiDAO is on a mission to transform the food system by building a zero-waste, decentralized platform that reshapes Africa's agricultural landscape. Our goal is to digitize and decentralize food systems across the continent, making them more resilient, sustainable, and interconnected with the global market. We tokenize freeze-dried agricultural commodities, extending their shelf life up to 25 years and turning them into tradeable Real-World Assets (RWAs). This allows us to stabilize previously perishable goods, enhance food security, and unlock new economic opportunities.

Our approach follows a freeze-dry-first model, where we cultivate crops primarily for freeze-drying and fulfill any fresh produce demand along the way. By preserving surplus, we minimize waste throughout the supply chain. Our decentralized co-ops and community-led governance empower farmers, landowners, and investors to fund projects and make decisions that drive sustainable agribusiness development.

Impact

We’re addressing some of the biggest challenges in African agriculture, including food waste, inefficient supply chains, and limited market access. By converting perishable crops into long-lasting commodities, we reduce food loss significantly while creating new income streams for communities. The extended shelf life of our freeze-dried products also gives us the ability to tap into global markets, boosting economic resilience and providing export opportunities.
