Aiki Wiki is a protocol and platform for online conflict resolution and mutually resolving consensus building at scale for the world wide web. Our protocol is demonstrable and has utility for web2, web3, and AI systems.
The protocol applies a narrative logic structure which leans on Game Theory and Psychology to produce a mutual resolution or "win-win" outcome in a consensus or decision making process. Through the guidance of the algorithm, a community can build a shared narrative by issuing permissions to change the article to those that work from a state of conflict to a state of resolution in a manner that is thoroughly open and transparent.
This process is novel in the sense that it can allow for a fully ripe consensus to emerge without relying on any voting mechanisms, allowing both convergence and abandonment to play into the overall outcome of the result.
We currently have an API and just began testing the first interface for online discussion around a single coherent idea, called a notch,––threaded into convergence by the protocol.
Any grant funding would be applied to next phase of development and research, processing an entire article, a collection of notches, into convergence discussion threading in a group of under one hundred people who disagree on a topic. We believe this can offer, inform or align any governance system and will seek to test efficacy at this stage.
