Based Chicks for Eissa
Based Chicks is an NFT project raising funds to help Syrian refugee Eissa Kilo and his children emigrate from Turkey to Canada for better living conditions and support.

Based Chicks is a NFT mint that was created to raise funds for Syrian refugee Eissa Kilo and his two children Youssef and Farouk to legally emigrate to Canada from Turkey. The Web3 community has helped Eissa and his village with emergency aid funds after the 2023 Turkey-Syria Earthquake, and were even able to help him get out of Syria and safe in Turkey. Despite him being out of Syria and in Turkey now, his living conditions are still extremely difficult. Him getting to Canada where he could receive governmental support is integral because he currently receives negative support in Turkey, and faces deportation risks on a daily basis.
