Convex Funding(ex Gitcoin reviewers)
A community of ex-Gitcoin reviewers developed an innovative funding mechanism, Convex Funding, to optimize allocation and quadratic funding rounds, incentivizing desired behaviors and supporting high-impact projects.

This project is created and maintained by a community of ex-gitcoin reviewers that really believe web3 grant programs should be credible neutral!!!

Our solution to this problem is : Convex FUNDING!

The concept is derived from the mathematical idea of "convexity," where a function's rate of change increases as input values grow.

Convex functions are used in optimization problems. In finance, they are often used in portfolio optimization. CFX can grow into a new allocation mechanism in which the rewards or benefits increase disproportionately as certain outcomes/milestones are achieved.

It can optimize :

A)The allocation game by incentivising winners(or desired behaviors) to accelerate developments while enabling a more customizable approach.

B) It can also optimize quadratic funding rounds to allocate both democratically and optimally.

C) Has different functions and can become: 1)A second neutral layer of review 2)System that “scans” for innovation and high impact projects

Our pilot program had great results and was funded by the ThankARB program. We wish to export CFX to the public goods space and create a Garden to grow & maintain in the real ethos of web3.
