Creating Spanish web3 educational resources and experiences for Latino entrepreneurs and builders, including community-driven talks, conferences, and a series of deep dive topics on blockchain and crypto startups.

Community of Practice for entrepreneurs and crypto enthusiasts who want to explore, create and build businesses and projects using web3.

We create learning resources and experiences as public goods for the future latino web3 creators and builders.

Problem

There is ton of initiatives for users in web3, but the content for those curious about building is still scarce in Spanish. It's even more so if we consider the long learning curve for those taking their first steps, and how limited is the time for already experienced builders and founders.

Solution

We want to create content and learning experiences for creators, builders and founders that want to explore the possibilities of web3.

We already had a regular Twitter Spaces in 2022, that we discontinued after a hack to our account. We want to revive that initiative as a community-led show, recorded and transmited from our OnCyber's space: La Torre Palta. https://oncyber.io/cryptoamigos

We also aim to reinforce our series of conferences put together with universities, business incubators and local goverments.

The Content

Our core content is going to be a series of Deep Dives (placeholder name). The initial set of topics, sourced from our community and the request of allies and past event's participants, includes:

  • Intro to Web3 for entrepreneurs
  • Web3 for Traditional Businesses
  • Intro to the Metaverse
  • Smart Cities & Blockchain
  • Blockchain for Logistics
  • Internet Native Organizations (previously: DAOs and Digital Cooperatives)
  • Crypto Startups

Our content will have guests and articles inspired by our conversations with them. Everything in Spanish, freely accesible.

About us

Cryptoamigos was born in November 2021 as a WhatsApp group of IRL friends, and the friends of those friends who gathered to discuss about crypto. Since then, we have put together content, IRL and virtual events, and a community of like-minded people who care about the possibilities of building with web3.
