We are a community focused on enhancing blockchain security through research, talent development, and education, with initiatives including incident handling, monitoring, and user safety.

We are a community passionate about blockchain security research, dedicated to improving the blockchain security ecosystem and talent development. Our focus areas include smart contract security, on-chain monitoring, user asset security, anti-money laundering, CTF, emergency incident handling, and rescue operations.

The DeFiHackLabs community was founded in October 2022 with fewer than 10 white hats. Currently, our Discord community has grown to over 3,400 members, including 201 white hats from around the world, with 40% from the Asia region and 20 white hats from Taiwan. We are continuously working to promote our initiatives.

We focus on talent cultivation. Even after the grant is completed, our promotional efforts will organically attract more security talent.

Vision: empowering a safer Web3 ecosystem through collective security expertise and innovation, aiming to build a more secure and resilient digital future. Prevent users from falling victim to phishing and scams, as well as protecting DeFi from hacking incidents.

Mission: bridge traditional and emerging talent into Web3 security, enhancing ecosystem resilience through strategic partnerships and education. We provide a platform for professionals to access training, tools, and direct industry engagement, advancing Web3 security collectively.

What we have done in 2024 02/05 Let’s Scroll meetup x DeFiHackLabs. 03/16~03/17 Ethernaut CTF: 9th place. 04/14 Hong Kong Web3 Festival: 1 talk by a community white hat. 04/27 Scroll VORTEx Hackathon. 05/14 National Taiwan University: 1 talk by a community white hat. 05/14~05/16 CYBERSEC 2024: 3 talks by community white hats. 06/19 ~07/24 200 DeFi Hacks root cause report. 07/12~07/14 HITCON CTF 2024 Quals: Create two Web3 CTF challenges for the HITCON. CTF. The HITCON CTF champion will qualify for the DEFCON finals in August. 07/1~07/31: PoC Summer Contest (Received 73 PoCs). 08/03-08/04: COSCUP 2024: 4 talks by a community white hats at COSCUP.
