Project Purpose

DOM Money is dedicated to making daily crypto transactions accessible and practical. We're crafting a protocol for mobile apps that allows on-chain, cardless QR payments, even in locations traditionally conservative about crypto, effectively bridging the gap between crypto and fiat economies.

Our strategic goal is to build a community-governed stack for web3 super-apps that which will lead to a significant increase in the crypto day-to-day adoption of users far from crypto because of the technological and usability advantage.

Funding Usage

Funds will be allocated to expand our fiat P2P liquidity network, integrate additional blockchains, develop comprehensive documentation, and enhance protocol-level mobile wallet integration. You can find more details in Future work section

Project Updates Since Gitcoin Beta Round

  • Real Money Transactions: We've successfully conducted transactions with real money in Brazil on Polygon Mainnet and Gnosis Chain. Our squad is a cocktail of blockchain wizards, coding ninjas, legal sherpas, and fintech mavericks—all with a dash of anarchy and a splash of vision. Our screencast (~1.5 minutes) showcases the seamless process.
  • VietQR Integration: By integrating VietQR, Vietnam's national standard for QR code payments required by all fintech and banking apps, we've significantly expanded our reach in the APAC region.
  • Fiat P2P Liquidity Network: We've brought on board our first cohort of fiat P2P liquidity providers and have conducted closed tests on the Mainnet, laying the groundwork for a robust liquidity network.
  • PIX QR Payment Implementation: Launched PIX QR payment capabilities, offering our users a convenient and direct payment option.
  • Safe SDK Integration: Integrated Safe AA with sponsored Safe deployment without gas fees, elevating the security and user-friendliness of our wallet.
  • Deployment and Security Upgrades: Refined our Safe deployment process with new CI script functionalities and enhanced security measures, including a fixed safe deployment salt nonce.
  • Feeless USDT Transactions: Enabled users to send USDT across DOM Money without any transaction fees on Polygon Mainnet and Gnosis chain.
  • Base Testnet Deployment: Expanded our testing frontier by deploying DOM to the Base Testnet for robust testing and quality assurance.
  • Legal Framework Strengthening: Entered strategic collaborations with MiDAO and LexDAO for a comprehensive legal audit and to navigate DAO jurisdiction complexities.

Future Work

  • Expanding Acurast Processor Network - To improve distributed job execution, we plan to increase our use of Acurast processors, leveraging Titan M2 chips for robust testing and cross-chain transactions.
  • Integrate more blockchains (EVM & non-EVM) - Acurast protocol is chain agnostic and support a lot of networks, also their cross-chain communication approach is secure, fast and lightweight.
  • Extending QR Code Integration Implement QRIS, ThaiQR, and QR Ph to expand in APAC region.
  • Scaling Instant Fiat Transactions - We're developing a scalable matching engine using ASHR to automate direct fiat transactions from liquidity providers' bank accounts.
  • Light version of DOM Connect - Dashboard for LPs to manage bank accounts balance, setup their address, min/max transaction limits and setup own Acurast processor directly from our dashboard, if needed.
  • Alpha LPs Onboarding - Preparing to invite a select group of liquidity providers for VietQR payments on the mainnet after a screening process. Contact team by email or Twitter.
  • Comprehensive Documentation - Our focus will also be on producing helpful documentation and developer guides.
  • DOM Wallet Integrations - Embedding DOM Wallet capabilities directly into wallets, dapps and mobile applications.
