Ben spreads the word about products in Web3. He ties together research on decentralised identity, where he speaks as a subject matter expert with stakeholders and makes the resources available to the general public. Being a PhD candidate at the Centre for Distributed Ledger Technology, University of Malta, Ben applies his skill of make difficult things simple to explain and propagate several projects in and around RaidGuild.
In a developer-centric DAO marketing and media initiatives are not always at the top of the mind, which makes the procurement of funding difficult. Funding this project helps Ben to continue to be outspoken about everything and anything “Web3”.
Content Ben Produces
Ben’s activities span across channels and audiences. Most namely he successfully is making innovation visible to a broader audience. This includes creating content for channels that are underserved by Web3 content producers, such as LinkedIn, Research Gate, and decentralised GitLab instances.

Rite of Moloch Propagation
Ben has led Rite of Moloch from proof-of-concept to minimally viable product. This involved educating users about the functionality. Ben tackled the steep learning curve users were reporting by creating educational media. More concretely, a handbook that is non-technical documentation for anyone to get started.

Media Presence on Digital ID
Digital Identity is a topic close to Ben’s heart. By engaging in the Monero community he forged strong ties to the privacy community. Through presentations, key notes, interviews, research, and podcasts he cross-pollinates DLT-communities. His media efforts have led to a decentralised identity concept to emerge over Monero.

Civil Society Privacy Engagement
Locally Ben collaborates with representatives of the German civil society for pushing back on centralised, government-driven, digital identity initiatives that are exclusive and dystopian.
