ETHMedellin is a non-profit organization that aims to promote blockchain education, innovation, and development in Medellín, Colombia. Our main activities include: Organizing the annual ETHMedellin conference, which brings together over 1,000 attendees including developers, researchers, students, and crypto-enthusiasts to discuss Ethereum, blockchain technology, decentralized applications, governance, and related topics. The conference features prominent international speakers and local Colombian projects. Running free educational workshops and hackathons focused on blockchain development for university students and the general public in Medellín. These hands-on activities allow us to engage with new talent and build up skill sets. Supporting and incubating Colombian Ethereum and blockchain projects by providing technical advice, connections to funding sources and accelerators, and access to our international network. Building up the local Ethereum community through regular meetups, info sessions, and networking events. We aim to make Medellín and Colombia a hub for blockchain innovation.
We are the movement towards a more sustainable and equitable future in #Medellín. Expanding Blockchain Education and Innovation in Medellín
Our goal is to grow Medellín's blockchain ecosystem through a four-phase approach. First, raise awareness of blockchain's potential through local outreach campaigns. Second, provide free educational workshops to give hands-on blockchain training to students and developers. Third, incubate novel decentralized solutions by offering project building support and global resources to talented builders. Finally, empower these new innovators to teach and share their knowledge with others via coaching and peer learning programs.
