SI<3> is an ecosystem of diverse and under-represented Web3 professionals focused on co-creating a more accessible web.

Within SI<3>, we have launched our 'Granting Access' event series and 'FIXX' (Financial Inclusion XX Chromosomes) cross-organization DEI working group.

Our aim is to improve equitable distribution of grant resources and drive collaborative impact between Web3 organizations.

INTRODUCING GRANTING ACCESS

SI<3> has been the recipient of six grants in the Web3 industry, and in the process has become aware of the low % of grant funds directed towards women and non-binary Web3 professionals. In response to this industry-wide financial inclusion challenge, we initiated an event series with the goal of introducing and educating diverse emerging tech creators and builders to Web3 grant programs, their organizations, and their operators.

On August 1st, we hosted a successful kickoff event with representation from organizations including Octant, Gitcoin, Unlock Protocol, ThankARB, Cosmos Cartel, Push Protocol, and LUKSO. This event was multi-streamed and had over 400 attendees.

Next up in the Granting Access series, on August 15th we are hosting an open educational event called 'Si Her Granting Pathways.' This educational experience will support women and non-binary grant seekers in the process of nagivating the grant application landscape, and the potential for collaboration with other diverse builders and creators in this process.

FIXX (FINANCIAL INCLUSION XX CHROMOSOMES)

On September 12th, we are launching FIXX, a collaborative impact program focused on Diversity, Equity & Inclusion.

Within this program, we are introducing these core offerings:

1. Facilitated sessions offered on the second Thursday of each month to a targeted 20 organizations (6 have already confirmed)

2. ‘Strategies for Equity & Financial Inclusion in Web3’ playbook

3. Facilitated collaboration and networking opportunities, including shared learnings, between organizations

OUR ECO-COLLAB SYSTEM

We are in the beginning stages of developing our collaborative growth & funding distribution system. This system is being created in support of streamlining marketing campaigns and partnerships between Web3 organizations, communities and creators. Within this system, it will also distribute funding towards women and diversity-led projects and campaigns with the aim through micro-grants and streams.
