About GreenPill Brasil

GreenPill Brasil is a community committed to socio-environmental regeneration through concrete and collaborative actions. Our mission is to strengthen our network and promote effective changes in socio-cultural and environmental issues in Brazil.

Completed Initiatives and Ongoing:

Community Activation: We have established forums, working groups, and 2 weekly online meeting spaces to facilitate engagement and collaboration among our members, we had approximadely 20 meetings since January and more than 30 hours of recorded meetings.

Active Participation in Development Projects: We actively contribute to the development of the GreenPill App and the Green Goods App in partnership with the Greenpill Dev Guild.

Onboarding:

• We onborded 5 new projects to greenpill network;
• 20 new members into the GreenPill Discord and
• 12 new active members on Charmverse.

We also provide support and guidance for integrated projects to access their own donations on Gitcoin or GreenPill rounds, boosting their regeneration initiatives.

Gitcoin/Greenpill Awareness:

• Every friday at 11AM we have the Get Greenpilled Sessions, which are meetings where we study the book Greenpilled, onboard new members to public goods ecosystem and increase awareness of important issues like humanity cordination failures, missinformation, climate changes. On the last 3 months,
• we had 9 meetings;
• with more than 17 hours recorded;
• an average of 8 participants for meeting.

We expand our presence on social media,

• increasing by 20 followers;
• reaching more than 1500 people with our publications on X since November of 2023, and
• creating an Instagram page, where with just 4 posts we reached more than 100 people and gained 48 followers.

We use twitter to connect with other chapters, get donations, get updates and valuable data. And we are using instagram page to inform and update our broad brazilian community about our internal activities, quadratic and retroactive funding concepts and the rounds on greenpill and gitcoin. So we`re creating meaningful discussions between non Web3 users about real regenerative use cases of cryptos.

Open Source Development: We have implemented the Ethereum Attestation Service and a bot on Telegram to automated mechanism to collect ours users attetations, about feedbacks, value recognition, contribution logging, streamlining our operations and increasing the efficiency of our initiatives.

Resources: In the past november we received funds from our first grant experience, on the greenpill.network community round. We had 36 unique contributors with 74$ in total from vonations. Then we received approximately 650$ from the matching pool. We used these funds to stablish some resources, so we have translated the Greenpilled Book and the ImpactDao Book in a colaborative manner, ensuring that everyone in Brazil can have access.

Objectives: On the last 3 months our main objective was to strength the infrastructure, and activate a vibrant community on GreenPill Brasil initiatives. I think we`re on the right path, so, on the next three months,

• We will continue to increasing our presence on social media;
• We will participate in-person events like ETHSamba, and DeSci, Impact and Inovation, with merchandise from GreenPill Brasil or GreenPill Network, like t-shirts, the Greenpilled Book and stickers;
• We will manage our own QF or RetroPGF round.
