Greenpill Network and GPN Dev Guild integrate Hypercerts into GPN-specific tools to track, validate, and reward socio-environmental impact, simplifying and gamifying the contribution process for increased visibility and funding.

The Greenpill Network aims to support and accelerate projects and initiatives that contribute to socio-environmental regeneration and sustainability through the innovative use of regenerative cryptoeconomics.

We have run past experiments with Hypcerts as a Network, and the GPN Dev Guild is currently integrating Hypercerts into their projects.

The GreenPill Network and GPN Dev Guild are exploring different ways we can better track proof of impact, especially for off-chain actions, or zones of impact that are harder to capture. Part of that experiment has been using Hypercerts.

We worked with the The Raid Guild team who forked Gitcoin’s GrantsStack and helped us build a GPN-specific Hypercerts integrated tool which enabled chapters to mint GPN hypercerts for work done by the chapters, which was then meant to showcase their hypercert on the forked explorer page for GPN’s community round. Hypercerts were minted on minter.greenpill.network . We wanted to see if and how minted hypercerts would affect funding raised by local GPN chapters.

We then ran our round on the forked Grants Stack- https://explorer.greenpill.network/#/round/10/0x4727e3265706c59dbc31e7c518960f4f843bb4da

The GPN Dev Guild is also working to integrate Hypercerts into our various impact-focused projects

Integration of Hypercerts for Impactful Action Recent collaborations with Raid Guild and the integration of Hypercerts into our GPN-specific tools have demonstrated the potential of hypercerts in enhancing the visibility and funding of local GPN chapters.

Our initiative seeks to expand upon these foundations by focusing on three critical areas of hypercert development:

Minting Abstraction: We aim to simplify the minting process, making the utility of hypercerts accessible to all users regardless of their technical expertise. This will encourage broader adoption and utilization of hypercerts within our network.

Gamified Badges & Rewards: Recognizing contributions through gamified badges and rewards is a proven motivator. We plan to mint hypercerts upon the completion and verification of impactful actions, thereby incentivizing and acknowledging the efforts of our community members.

Attesting to Impact & Evaluations: Implementing a robust system for attestations will allow us to tie specific actions and their evaluations directly to hypercerts. This will enable a transparent and verifiable method of recognizing and rewarding impact within our network.

Some of what the Dev Guild is looking to achieve

Enhance Proof of Impact Tracking: Utilize hypercerts to develop a more nuanced and comprehensive system for tracking and validating the impact of both on-chain and off-chain actions within the GreenPill ecosystem.

Develop Open-Source Tools: Continue the DevGuild’s work in creating open-source platforms and tools that integrate hypercerts, focusing on ease of use, gamification, and effective impact evaluation.

Pilot Innovative Use Cases: Explore new functionalities for hypercerts, including the implementation of retroactive funding rounds and the use of hyperboards for dynamic impact visualization and engagement.

Collaborative Impact and Innovation

Our initiative represents a pioneering effort within the hypercerts ecosystem, combining the GreenPill Network's vision for socio-environmental regeneration with the GreenPill DevGuild's technical innovation. By further integrating hypercerts into our processes and tools, we aim to:

Broaden Participation: Lower barriers to entry for contributors, making it easier for community members to engage with and contribute to impactful projects.

Increase Visibility and Funding: Provide local chapters and individual contributors with the means to showcase their impact more effectively, potentially leading to increased funding and support.

Foster a Culture of Recognition: Create a more engaging and rewarding environment for contributors, where their efforts are recognized and celebrated within the community.

The collaboration between the GreenPill Network and the GreenPill DevGuild presents a unique opportunity to advance the Hypercerts Ecosystem through practical, innovative applications. Our focus on minting abstraction, gamified rewards, and attestations of impact position us to significantly contribute to the hypercerts landscape, offering scalable and impactful solutions to the global challenges we face today.

We are splitting the funds from this grant between GPN and the Dev Guild, to continue our impact tracking work.
