Taptive offers 4-week writing programs for web3 communities to boost engagement, improve communication skills, and create industry content, subsidized by grants for accessibility.

Taptive teaches web3 communities how to write online.

And as a result, we:

  • Increase community engagement for these web3 communities (deepening ecosystem relationships and collaboration)
  • Level up members of the web3 community by helping them to improve their communications skills
  • Create pro-web3 content written by members of the web3 community (we help anyone become a spokesperson for the industry)
  • Help members of the web3 community learn web3 concepts through writing (clear writing = clear thinking)

How do we do this?

  • We partner with web3 organizations to run white-labeled, 4-week cohort-based writing programs open to all members of the community.
  • The focus of the program is to help people to publish their writing on a weekly cadence.
  • The program is:
    • Community-focused — anyone from the community can join for free (we average 150+ sign ups)
    • Relationship-driven — we run 4 live Zoom meetings during a cohort with dozens of 1:1 breakout rooms to foster deep relationships
    • Action-oriented — the program focuses on learning by doing (on average, a cohort will produce 59 published essays)
    • Content-dense — we provide access to over 30 pages of writing tips, guides, and frameworks to support writers on their journey

We have a proven track record in the space:

  • We’ve run 21 4-week cohorts for web3 communities like Ethereum[dot]org, BanklessDAO (5 cohorts), IndiGG, Green Pill, CityDAO, TalentDAO, Lobby3, Smart Contract Research Forum, and more
  • Read our wall of love: https://testimonial.to/taptive/all
  • These cohorts have resulted in 1,000+ published pro-web3 articles. Each written article helps the writer learn about the topic, and it helps 10-1,000s of others learn by reading their writing

The Grant money will directly contribute to additional cohorts in communities otherwise not able to fund them

  • We are limited by the costs of running a cohort (cohort setup, facilitator time, community management, software costs)
  • This makes our program inaccessible to many web3 communities
  • Grant funding will subsidize our costs allowing us to run cohorts for additional web3 communities** (this is based on our outreach/rejection rates)
  • In addition, the funding will help us to improve operations, lower costs, improve the quality, and provide a path towards a self-sustaining model

Long-term, we want to 10x our impact:

  • We will help 10,000 people learn, express themselves, and grow with the power of writing
    • Currently, we’ve helped ~1,000 people
  • We will help writers publish 20,000 articles to share ideas and tell stories
    • Currently, we’ve helped people publish ~2,000 posts
  • We will partner with 200 organizations in the ecosystem to help increase their community engagement and support their growth
    • Currently, we’ve helped around 20 organizations
