Imagine supporting Helpers Social Development Foundation: Teaching web3 & digital skills while supporting vulnerable children to go to school. Our goal is to use education as a weapon to break a circle of poverty, creating opportunities for income, growth, and sustainable development.
The Challenge
20 million children in Nigeria are out of school due to poverty. Lack of quality education is the primary factor preventing poverty-stricken families from opportunities for growth. Without quality education, the vulnerable will be unable to achieve their potential and end up going into early marriage or facing child labour. Support this initiative will help us to offer vulnerable children access to free education, and teach them digital skills and web3.
The Solution
Helpers Foundation School is the solution to prevent children from dropping out of school in Enugu State by offering vulnerable children access to free education and empowering them to learn web3 and digital access. By providing a standard of education for children, we help them to be change agents in their community. Education gives freedom and independence.
Along with free education, we will be educating children about web3 and digital skills. Our curriculum will include setting up wallets, making transactions, NFTs, and some basics about DeFi. We will also be educating them about the dangers and risks of scams and other bad actors.
Long-term Impact
Quality education will underprivileged children to break the circle of poverty and help support their families. Free school programs give pupils in our school a better opportunity to achieve their potential. By supporting this initiative, literacy measurements and national test scores will improve. More students will graduate from primary and secondary school and be college-ready. Students and teachers will be computer literate and gain 21st-century skills for the marketplace.
