Project seeks to test index wallets as an innovative economic mechanism for public goods funding and wealth distribution by conducting game theory analysis and simulation experiments.
Index wallets are a payment based crypto economic mechanism that show promise of enabling:
- Funding for public goods
- Wealth equalizing dynamics
- Voluntary taxation
If successful, index wallets may be an alternative public goods funding mechanism for network states like Zuzalu and Vitalia.
To read about index wallets in detail, please see https://preprint.indexwallets.org
This funding will go towards invalidating index wallets as a mechanism (showing that it doesn't work, for some reason). To achieve this we'll do:
- game theoretic analysis
- agent based economic simulation
- experiments with prototype digital games
