JobStash
JobStash is an aggregator for crypto native jobs for both emerging and established protocols. We index vacancies from organization career pages, thus eliminating scams and the need for their direct involvement, and do not require financial contributions to list jobs.
We index thousands of jobs from 220+ organizations deploying on 50+ chains. We publish to 5.5k TG subs daily.
Using AI, we structure job details and add in both manually-researched data, like organizational headcounts, and auto-imported data, such as funding specifics, protocol financials, audits and hacks.
A brief update on our platform
We've re-built our backend infrastructure to be able to index arbitrary jobs for any possible source. Thanks to this custom data scraping infrastructure, we're now able to expand our reach to a much larger amount of organizations than previously possible. We've deployed all new data infrastructure which is now 10x faster than before, reducing DB query time from 8 seconds to < 1 second for most users. We currently facilitate ±300 job applications per week to organizations that have been indexed by our platform. We confirmed hires, and never took funds from protocols for this.
Short Term Goal
We are set to launch a new suite of tools enabling developers to anonymously review organizations they've previously worked with, essentially creating a decentralized, verified "GlassDoor" for the Crypto world.
This initiative aims to empower developers to make well-informed decisions about their potential collaborations, thereby enhancing the overall transparency of the crypto job market.
Furthermore, we are working on extending our reach to every possible organization in the space. To accomplish this, we are building new data pipelines which will automatically detect job opportunities for thousands of companies in the space.
Furthermore, we're working on internal tooling which we need to be able to manage the growing volume of data we're handling.
Objective of JobStash
Our primary focus is to provide equal, fair and unbiased coverage for jobs for any reputable crypto native organization.
We aim to represent projects and organizations comprehensively and authoritatively by displaying critical metrics like TVLs, Hacks, Raises, Usage stats, and more. We're diligently building data pipelines to uncover new insights about open source projects.
Why Support JobStash?
Our platform is independent, bootstrapped, and champions open-source DeFi protocols and networks. We don't require monetary contributions for listings, maintaining our neutrality and unbiased stance.
Independence
Our independence ensures we prioritize safety by vetting job opportunities from credible organizations, avoiding malware-ridden posts from anonymous sources.
Our Unfair Advantage
JobStash is not your average job board. Our fully automated platform ingests data from APIs and we've built and deployed advanced scrapers to capture job opportunities not found on traditional job markets.
We're addressing the two-sided market problem by automating job listings, requiring no manual input from organizations.
Problems We Are Addressing
- Safety and quality of job ads
- Lack of verified insights on organizations
- Identifying relevant and high-potential job opportunities in a dynamic space
Solutions We Are Proposing
- Allowing verified users who we detect as previous or current employees of an organization to post anonymized reviews about the organization
- Private contribution descriptions for effective communication with potential employers
Value Proposition
We aim to efficiently match the right people with the right jobs, providing the best information for informed decision-making, contributing to the growth and success of the crypto ecosystem. While we do not engage in headhunting, we will be able to provide ranked lists to protocols who wish to hire the best of the best.
