Liberal Acadmy started in 2019 as a homeshooler community in China, expanded during the COVID-19 era to support gap year and dropout students through an online community network. We have over 30 topic-specific groups and more than 400 activities, ranging from workshops and study groups to co-living experiences and joint competition participation.

Building on our strong community, we are now ready to globalise, connect with more students outside of traditional systems, provide more effective support and reorganise our collaborative mechanisms into a DAO.

Our mission is to connect rebellious and free souls who is suffering or has suffered in the prison-like education system (especially in an authoritarian state), to prove our abilities through portfolios rather than diplomas, enrich our choices by participating in diverse social networks, run our businesses in global industry as digital nomads, and ultimately free our lives from national destiny and family karma.
