Libree enables Lens creators to offer token-gated experiences by staking AAVE, letting creators monetize content while users enjoy free access. Launching on Polygon mainnet.
Libree in SocialFi app built of Lens that allows Lens' creators to offer token-gated experiences on staking (stakes in AAVE). This allows creators to monetise their work, by getting the yield generated from the staking, while allowing users to enjoy free quality content.
This functionality is ready to use within existing Lens apps such as Orb or Hey, which means users will be able to enjoy this token-gated content on any Lens app.
How it works?
- Creator goes to Libree and signs up with their Lens handle
- Creator creates a Content/Services vault.
- Creator sets the staking amount for this Content or Service vault and the minimum staking period
- Everything that the creator publishes through Libree will show in all Lens app but token gated
- Users will then be able to stake to this creator vaults from any Lens feed
All staking is is deposited to AAVE. After minimum staking period users can claim their stake back but will looks their access to the vault.

- Gaining visibility, feedback and traction
- Making these token gated experiences more engaging and interactive
- Increase staking tokens available to Bonsai (currently only USDC)
