Abstract

This proposal outlines a collaboration between MesoReefDAO and Nerds.World to develop innovative DeSci web3 tools and a dynamic metaverse for stakeholders. The project aims to enhance stakeholder engagement and decision-making within MesoReefDAO, a Regenerative Coral Reef Conservation DeSci DAO. The tools will include web2/web3 DAO tooling with a user-friendly interface, a tiny metaverse for immersive stakeholder experiences, and profiles with attestations for authenticity. The project will also focus on EVM compatibility for on-chain verification, with a special emphasis on Layer 2 solutions, especially Arbitrum. Additionally, the project will introduce evolving research grants with incentives at every step of the scientific process for researchers and stakeholders to encourage participation and contribution.

The project will be scaled with prototypes as tools, and then a final integration will be implemented. This is so that any other DeSci or Web3 communities that would love to use the DApps will be free to use and experiment

Objectives

1. Develop web2/web3 DAO tooling with a user-friendly frontend for MesoReefDAO to enhance stakeholder engagement and decision-making.

2. Create a dynamic metaverse for stakeholders to immerse themselves in the DAO's activities and interact with each other.

3. Implement profiles with attestations to enhance the authenticity and credibility of stakeholder interactions within the metaverse.

4. Ensure EVM compatibility for seamless integration with Ethereum and a special focus on Layer 2 solutions, especially Arbitrum, for optimized performance.

5. Introduce evolving research grants with incentives at every step of the scientific process for researchers and stakeholders to encourage participation and contribution to the DAO's goals.

Implementation Plan

Research and Planning: Conduct research on existing web3 tools and metaverse platforms. Develop a detailed plan for tool development and metaverse creation.

Tool Development: Collaborate with Nerds.World to develop web2/web3 DAO tooling with a focus on a user-friendly interface. Ensure compatibility with Ethereum and Layer 2 solutions, especially Arbitrum.

Metaverse Creation: Design and develop a dynamic metaverse for stakeholders to engage with the DAO's activities. Integrate profiles with attestations for authenticity.

Testing and Iteration: Conduct extensive testing of the tools and metaverse. Feedback from stakeholders and make necessary iterations.

Launch and Integration: Launch the tools and metaverse for stakeholders. Integrate them with MesoReefDAO's existing ecosystem and ensure smooth operation.

Community Engagement: Engage with the community to promote the use of the tools and metaverse. Introduce evolving research grants with incentives to encourage participation and contribution.
