About

MoonShot is a gaming-centric guild for builders, investors, and gamers. This project has reignited our passions and made us fall in love once again with our childhood roots. As lifelong gamers we have dedicated ourselves to building an inclusive guild for everyone.

The DAO, functioning as a de-facto guild, is backed by multi-sig vaults and safeguarded by a reputable team.

The Guild treasury is sufficiently funded and generates consistent revenue from our main vertical. We also own NFTs, yield-bearing assets, and GameFi tokens. We participate in presales/launchpads/IDOs and contribute to LP's. We also operate nodes, stake funds, and farm airdrops.

However, we believe that the long-term success of any project cannot simply be for profit-seeking motives and so we write this application to seek additional funding for our Creator Fund. We have already started raising funds for our project. This fund is entirely detached from the Guild treasury and the governance is controlled by creators. They decide where funds are allocated and for what purposes. The Guild's mandate is to grow the fund responsibly and creators role is to spend it! For culture, community, events, giveaways, mini-games, and building.

We will be providing constant updates to Unlock in their Discord on the status of the fund, growth, and initiatives undertaken by the creators. We will be showing the results of the Creator Fund consistently over its life-cycle including other grants we apply for.

In what ways did you use Unlock Protocol?

Guild Memberships - The keys unlock the Discord. The free keys open the Discord server channels. They give access to gaming events, tools & analytics, networking, gaming reports, calls, newsletter, airdrop farming, stable diffusion bots, etc. The paid keys give members access to the treasury and deals we get from the various communities we belong to. This allows members to participate on their own time and on their own terms in IDO's/ICO's/Pre Sales/Nodes/Gaming Infrastructure/Etc. The Keys will be renewed each year or quarterly if voted on by members.

Trading Workshops - We teach members how to trade responsibly, mitigate risk, best practices, and which tools they should be using. Every quarter the Workshop Unlock Key is renewed and attendees have a chance to win the pool in a raffle. The winner shares their screen and trades live. The educational content comes first and then we apply the lesson in a fun gamified environment.

Weekly Newsletter - The Guild memberships receive a weekly newsletter on the state of crypto, Web3 gaming, upcoming mints, alpha, culture, tech, and infrastructure. We use Darkblocks so that members can easily view each edition. We plan to drop other art, collabs, gifts, magazines, and keys.

NSFW Drops - We have artists making monthly NSFW drops of vintage pin-up styled characters. Members can choose whether they want the NSFW or SFW memberships so we drop the safe and cropped versions accordingly. This is a fun, creative, and spicy use case of Unlock x Darkblock.

Creator Fund - A key will be available for purchase by our community to encourage the Creator Fund and get it started. The Guild will also vote on giving an amount to the fund from the main treasury.
