Move Weekly

Move Weekly sharing is a weekly (1-2 online studies per week) technology deep dive, focusing on the Move language. The course includes source code breakdown, interpreting standards, case studies…

We held over 20 Move Weekly events, generated many of our current tutorials for continuous developer education.

Move Co-Learning Camp

Move Co-Learn camp is a 4-5 weeks online co-learning course, providing a powerful platform where prospective Move developers can start building projects and getting involved with the Move ecosystem.

We construct the camp in the way that inspires participants to form teams, make projects and work towards at least one project demo with using Move language.

We surround participants with high quality builder community, hardworking atmosphere. We encourage participants helping each other, while dedicated maintainers supporting the students.

MoveFuns Web3 StarTrek

MoveFuns Web3 StarTrek is a well-designed tiered learning program to direct developer to make contributions to the Move ecosystem.

As a result of MoveFun StarTrek, a couple dozen of core PRs were submitted to the Move repositories , making a rather positive impact within the community.

The latest MoveFun StarTrek is underway:

🔥 We are delighted to welcome 12 new members, and created unique graduation NFTs for the participants.
🚀 Our bootcamp member fixed the support for 'sui' in 'intellij-move', therefore contributing to the entire evosystem.

Move Meetup

Move Dev Meetup is a offline meetup event connecting developers from different cities, encouraging community forming.

The Meetup aims to let individual developers come together, share, and bond. Develop a stronger sense of community and belonging, in turn creating better synergy and sparks.

Move Dev Meetups has held in over 8 different locations, with multiple sharing section within each meetup. In total, attracting over 500 offline participants and 10000+ online participants.

  • Multiple Move projects gained exposure and found business partners during the meetups
  • Many interested developers were exposed to Move Language and ecosystem for the first time through Dev Meetup
  • Potential venture partners and spectating projects/infra providers learned about Move ecosystem and projects through Meetups

We plan to make the Meetup a monthly repeating project hosting in more cities, for its positive effects and feedbacks from past events.

We will be incubating more infra projects on Sui and Aptos.

We currently plan to hold the 2023Move China Developer Conference in Shanghai on January 13-14.

As the largest and exclusive offline gathering in China dedicated to the Move language ecosystem, it is poised to gain global recognition. This event, capitalizing on Shanghai's status as a technological powerhouse, offers a unique opportunity for developers across the Asia-Pacific to immerse themselves in the Move ecosystem, expanding and enriching the network of Move developers.

We envision the 2023 Move China Developer Conference as a pivotal event in the blockchain domain. It aims to be a nexus of opportunity and innovation, fostering the growth of the Move ecosystem and providing a vibrant meeting ground for developers throughout the Asia-Pacific region.

In the first Asia-Pacific Move Developer Conference of 2022, we successfully hosted industry leaders like Sam Blackshea from Mystern Labs, Wolfgang Grieskamp leading AptosMove, and Jolestar, CTO of Starcoin. The two-day event attracted over 1600 online participants, featuring 30+ seminars covering various Move developer communities. This conference has significantly elevated Move's brand influence, making it a pivotal event in 2022—the year Move truly took off.
