Decentralized PWA for live-streaming music and artist-audience interaction with web3 login, chat, video, notifications, performance monetization, and donation options, developed during ETHOnline 2023.

MyJam is a decentralized audio streaming platform designed to connect independent musicians with audiences in a new and meaningful way. With MyJam, users can live stream their music from any device and engage with their listeners through chat or video. We have envisioned a live audio streaming experience that is both rewarding and engaging, leveraging some of the web3 technology to enhance accessibility and portability.

The project started as a proof of concept during ETHOnline 2023 hackathon.

MyJam is a Progressive Web Application (PWA) that offers users the flexibility to log in either through their web3 wallet or effortlessly using biometrics, thanks to the integration with Cometh. Once logged in, any user has the option to initiate a live stream from their own account using Livepeer or begin listening to other jams. Users can actively interact with content creators through chat, watch live performances, and receive notifications through the Push Protocol, alerting them when their favorite artists go live. Musicians have the ability to restrict chat and video engagement with a fee that listeners can pay to unlock. Lastly, the audience has the convenience of easily donating to their preferred artists, contributing to public good fundraisers on the Polygon network.
