Thanks to everyone who contributed to Nomis in the last Gitcoin Grant round, it made a huge difference in helping us achieve the following key milestones towards our vision of a personalized and fair web3 for everyone:

• Launched Linea Reputation Score to help users unlock, manage and leverage their onchain reputation, and developers make data-driven wallet decisions.
• 10+ web3 projects onboarded to the ScoreFront, providing more utility and value to Nomis Score holders.

About / TL;DR

Nomis, an onchain identity protocol and wallet-scoring infrastructure, helps you build, manage and leverage your onchain reputation represented as a Nomis Score (0-100), a utility SBTs issued on Polygon and zkSync. Having a Score grants access to Nomis ScoreFront and exclusive rewards within our partner ecosystem.

Problems

• Web3 users have almost no way to manage and take benefits from their onchain reputation and contribution to the space: ecosystems and projects within, onchain communities, etc. Fair web3 demands a fair reward distribution to true contributors, early adopters and active community members, and the current state of web3 is far from this vision.
• Web3 leaders lack a targeting infrastructure, resulting in poor return on marketing investment. Although there are a few emerging solutions (wallet relationship management, wallet messaging, etc.) to solve this problem: BUIDLers are struggling to get traction with current web3 marketing tools. Today, it's extremely difficult to find and acquire target users and protect your marketing campaigns from sybil attackers and bad actors who want to drain your budget and deliver 0 value to your project and community.

Solution

• Nomis helps web3 users to assess and acquire their onchain reputation in form of a Nomis Score, utility SBTs on Polygon, zkSync, Arbitrum, Polygon zkEVM, Optimism, and Linea, representing onchain reputation from 0 to 100. Having a Score grants access to the ScoreFront and partner rewards. Higher Scores mean more opportunities on the ScoreFront. Nomis ScoreFront is a one-stop platform that allows Nomis Score holders to take advantage of their onchain reputation and access perks, rewards, special terms, and exclusive access from our partners.
• Nomis leverages wallet-scoring infrastructure to help web3 brands enable web3-native loyalty programs, targeting campaigns, and score-based reward distribution to improve the ROI of their marketing campaigns and prevent bots from being rewarded. We make this possible by evaluating the reputation of wallets based on their onchain activity.
• We collect robust onchain data from 50+ sources including Explorers, Chainanalysis, Greysafe, De.Fi, HAPI, CyberConnect and Snapshot to train our ML-powered mathematical models and provide human-readable insights and wallet rankings based on web3 business needs. The math models behind Nomis assess wallets based on 30+ weighted parameters.

Team

Team of 6 with 15+ years of experience in neural network and expert system research, development of AI and ML powered scoring solutions for web2 business, 40+ scientific papers on AI and 8 patent certificates for artificial neural network software. The team is part of Credit Collective, a closed collective of builders, investors, LPs, and dreamers working together to build the next generation of credit solutions. Each team member is an alumnus & grantee of Celo Camp B6 and Hatch Web3 Accelerator for Hedera S2.

Roadmap

• Nomis ID: A W3C standard identifier (DID) with a username, a non-sybil qualifier, and reputation scores on various networks.
• ScoreBuilder. A no-code reputation scoring builder for developers and projects to create their own reputation systems with customized parameters and scoring algorithms.
• Nomis Protocol v1. A decentralized reputation infrastructure layer for personalized web3.
