My name is Octav and I am a Web3 builder from Romania.

I will be volunteering at ETH Global Istanbul and I am very excited to have this opportunity after my previous expriences at other ETH events world-wide.

This will by my first time volunteering at an ETH Global event and I am looking forward to use my skills and knowledge and enhance the exprience of the participants.

As a background, I used to work in sales for a large hotel chain in northen europe, until I decided to focus full time on Web3.

I was part of the first DAO in Romania as core contributor and later on, ambassador.

Together with my partner, Endi, we stared the first Web3 Media Outlet in Romania, focusing on NFTs and Metaverse, and in 2024 we will organize two major events in Easter Europe - ETH Bucharest and NFT Bucharest.

Looking forward to connecting with many builders from the ETH ecosystem while in Istanbul, and I am very interested in seeing what the hackers will build during the hackathon.
