Initiative by a former educator and principal, assisted by her daughters, to provide sanitary products and empower education for underprivileged schoolgirls in Nigeria.

With my background in Fine Arts, a career spanning 14 years in education, and 10 years as a principal of a rural school, I have witnessed firsthand the challenges faced by girls in our community. Identifying the barriers that hinder their education, especially the lack of necessities, my daughters (aged 8 and 5) and I have been committed to providing sanitary products to underprivileged schoolgirls. In Nigeria, over 37 million women and girls of reproductive age, lack access to menstrual hygiene products due to paucity of funds. The former Minister of Women Affairs Pauline Tallen confirmed this situation. It is against this backdrop that we now look to empower these girls through education, technology, and entrepreneurship.
