We are more than a hub. We are a decentralised community driven by innovation and sustainability. In an increasingly complex world, we excel at integrating new systems thinking and working together to create the conditions for a prosperous future.

Our autonomous approach allows us to adapt to the complexity of nature and be part of a larger structure. We strive to deliver tangible results while working with impact-driven communities, education and sustainability. We envision a future where redistribution, regeneration and social design are globally interconnected.

At ReFi Bogotá we embrace technology and sustainable business models. With complementary currencies and open source designs, we seek to reduce inequalities and create new opportunities for growth.

About ReFi Bogotá

We are the local node of ReFi DAO in Bogotá - Colombia. At ReFi Bogotá we are committed to promoting and implementing Regenerative Finance (ReFi) in the Cundinamarca region. Our work focuses on fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing between local nodes, as well as expanding the impact of ReFi in the community.

We provide educational and awareness-raising spaces on innovative technologies such as blockchain, tokenization and web3, with t he aim of promoting more sustainable financial and environmental practices. Through events, talks and activities, we seek to build a collaborative fabric that promotes positive change in our society and contributes to general wellbeing.

Our Objectives

• Education and awareness: Develop educational programmes to spread knowledge about Regenerative Finance, blockchain and web3, bringing these concepts closer to the Bogota community.
• Creation of educational spaces: Establish events, talks and meetings that provide interactive educational spaces where people can learn and discuss the adoption of innovative technologies.
• Web 3.0 adoption: Bring the web3 message to the population, highlighting its benefits and opportunities, and how it can positively transform the way we interact with finance.
• Collaboration between nodes: Collaborate closely with other ReFi nodes, strengthening the global network and sharing experiences and knowledge to move together towards a sustainable financial future.

From experts in biology, ecology and data science to blockchain technology innovators and passionate activists, we aim to cultivate a more informed and empathetic collective consciousness on issues of sustainability and web 3.0 adoption. Through hackathons and development opportunities, we promote technology ventures that make a difference.
• Development of Educational Events: Our commitment to education and community empowerment drives us to develop a wide range of educational events. From workshops and meetups to hackathons and bootcamps, we strive to offer enriching experiences that broaden understanding of regenerative finance and web 3.0 adoption. These events seek not only to inform, but also to inspire and create tangible opportunities for all participants. Our goal is to be recognised as a leader in creating dynamic educational spaces that foster innovation, collaborative learning and personal and professional growth within our community.
• Promoting Social Enterprises: We celebrate and support the advancement of social and environmental impact ventures. By weaving a collaborative network of committed actors, we organise workshops and events that not only share knowledge, but also redefine business perceptions of positive impact. We highlight the opportunities and benefits offered by the social and environmental sector, thereby inspiring meaningful change.

Our Achievements

In just five months, we have managed to consolidate a robust platform of both face-to-face and digital activities, ranging from inspiring workshops to enriching networking spaces and keynotes. Our commitment to transformation has translated into a wide range of events that have resonated deeply with our community. From our first gatherings to hosting high-impact conferences, we have created a vibrant space for the exchange of ideas and collaboration. In addition, our social media presence has experienced significant growth, attracting an audience engaged and enthusiastic about our vision for change. Our impact in the city is reflected not only in the diversity and quality of our activities, but also in the growing participation and palpable enthusiasm that our initiative has generated in the community.
