The project aims to automate the entire research process, involving a global community to create a more open and accessible system in line with DeSci's philosophy of research as a public good.

This project aims to automate research processes. It takes the first step toward creating an intelligence capable of autonomously carrying out the entire research process, from determining the research theme to presenting the results. In order to involve as many people as possible from around the world and advance it as a global project, I will first create a survey paper representing the current state of research automation and then develop a white paper that serves as a roadmap for research automation. Based on this, we will implement the automation of research step by step in a decentralized manner.

This project deeply resonates with the philosophy of DeSci. I strongly agree with DeSci's fundamental idea that research knowledge is a public good for humanity. The automation of research lowers the barriers to entry for everyone, making not only research outcomes but also the entire process of research more open. Furthermore, automating research requires turning research processes into software, which will make previously hidden aspects of research, known as tacit knowledge, more open. This will make research processes more transparent and accessible, enabling more open academic activities. For example, I believe that efforts like DeSci Labs, which make research processes composable, are highly compatible with this initiative. I am an expert in machine learning but a novice in distributed technology knowledge. However, I am deeply sympathetic to DeSci's philosophy and would love to do this project in DeSci-like way. So I really appreciate if I can get any feedback.
