Project Summary: Helpers Foundation back to school focuses to provide access to free quality education to vulnerable children in Nigeria. Ensuring girls have access to quality education is one of the most effective ways to reduce child marriage. Educated girls are more likely to delay marriage and have better economic opportunities. Supporting a cause like education demonstrates a commitment to social responsibility, enhancing your organization’s reputation and fostering goodwill within the community. In 2021, Helpers Social Development Foundation establish the Helpers Foundation School in Oji-River, area of Enugu State, Nigeria. Two set of students have graduated in our school while enjoying free and high-quality education. Our goal is to use the fund raised from this grant to give 20 kids access to education.
The Challenge
20 million children in Nigeria are out of school due to poverty. Lack of quality education is the primary factor preventing poverty-stricken families from opportunities for growth. Without quality education, the vulnerable will be unable to achieve their potential and end up going into early marriage or facing child labour.
The Solution
Helpers Foundation school is the solution to prevent children from dropping out of school and will be for thousands of other children in Nigeria. Society will be better by providing a standard of education for every child. Education gives freedom and independence.
Along with free education, we will be educating children about cryptocurrency. Our curriculum will include setting up wallets, making transactions, NFTs, and some basics about DeFi. We will also be educating them about the dangers and risks of scams and other bad actors.
Long-term Impact
Quality education will school pupils break a circle of poverty and help support their families. Free school programs give pupils in our school a better opportunity to achieve their potential. Your contribution to this children school initiave can make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and the future of our society.
