A decentralized scientific publishing platform offering 100% copyright for authors, simple submission, options for open or paid access, digital cooperative compensation, and publication as NFTs.

A decentralized scientific publishing platform.

The DeSci Journals:

  1. Practice 100% copyright for Authors. Industry standard is zero %.

  2. Use a 1-page with simple and straightforward submission flow for both articles (https://platform.desci.reviews/summary/new-document) and journals (recently developed and deployed in version 2, https://platform.desci.reviews/summary/new-journal) which is a new much simpler feature when compared to pages long used in traditional scientific journals. We made adding wallets optional.

  3. Have introduced features such as the percentage of authorship, which can include, not only individual authors, but also laboratories, institutions and DAOs.

  4. Give the choice to Authors to choose whether open access or paid access with funds going directly to the Author’s wallet.

  5. Operate as digital cooperative financially compensating editor, reviewers and designers.

  6. Will publish papers as NFTs to push forward a secondary market formation (v3).
