Global educational outreach at web3 conferences, focusing on crypto economics and token engineering. Events, partnerships, and hands-on guides aim for wider adoption and understanding, particularly in Africa.

What?

Token Trekkers - Trekking around web3 ecosystems 🦒🦓 (@ conferences and summits) Leveling up minds in crypto economic design 👾

The main goals are to:

  • Provide accessible educational materials
  • Foster engaging and inclusive discourse around crypto economic design and systems
  • Onboard more token engineers to TEA and TEC around the globe

How?

In 2023, we're attending:

  • ETHArgentina
  • ETHGlobal (New York, Lisbon)
  • Cosmos (Istanbul)
  • ETHCollege (Seattle)
  • Funding the Commons & DeSci Summit (Berlin)
  • ETHDenver (Top of mind for next year)

We can set up events, workshops, happy hours, etc at these conferences.

Being chapter leads of the GreenPill Network, we can create symbiotic events with established GreenPill chapters. This allows us to educate GreenPill members in researching and building regenerative crypto-economies.

Furthermore, we're partnered with an organization in Nigeria. We'll be traveling there next year to connect with more web3 communities. Africa is prime for web3 mass adoption through education. Currently, half a billion African citizens lack foundational identity, 900 million are under 30, and Central Africa Republic recently made Bitcoin legal tender. Cryptocurrency advocacy is growing, and potential innovators need education to leverage token engineering for their economies.

Teaches the fundamentals of encryption: public keys, private keys, merkle trees, etc., with python code examples.

C. ULMFiT Machine Learning Tutorial on Jupyter Notebook

Teaches how to build a machine learning project. Written like a book, covering data cleaning, pre-training, fine-tuning, and classification.

II. Research and Education Presentations

A. Princeton Plasma Lab - Bubble Oscillations

Research and educate peers and professors about applications of electrically-induced bubble oscillations.

B. Princeton Plasma Lab - Langmuir Probe

Research and educate about measuring plasma parameters using a Langmuir probe.

III. GreenPill Chapter Kickoffs & Education

We've helped set up chapters in Austin, Denver, Seattle, & Nigeria for GreenPill through traveling to web3 conferences and hosting events for GreenPill education and public goods.

IV. Web3 Wednesdays/Demo Days
