AlphaBlocks seeks grant to boost blockchain education in Africa, enhance skill-acquisition, support community marketing, and empower members' Web3 careers through quarterly educational cohorts.

ABOUT US

AlphaBlocks is excited to present this proposal for the Greenpill x Octant funding round.

We are a blockchain community which is committed to teaching and providing educational resources about Blockchain technology in Africa. We also share some blockchain-related job opportunities and skill-related resources.

We also run Cohort sessions on the basics of Blockchain technology and cryptocurrency, quarterly every year with over 200 participants being recorded.

OUR AIM

To create more awareness and onboard more Web3 enthusiasts into the Blockchain industry in Africa through education.

WHAT WE DO

• We propagate/preach the adoption of blockchain technology to our community members and beyond our community.

• We encourage the acquisition of blockchain-related skills in our community.

• We Provide valuable educational resources to our audience.

• We collaborate with industry experts, blockchain projects, educational institutions, and other stakeholders to broaden our reach and enhance the quality of our educational offerings.

• We offer hands-on learning opportunities, and hackathons, and help individuals develop practical skills in blockchain development, and decentralized application (DApp) development.

OUR PLANS FOR THE GRANT

In receiving the grant, we intend to push it into a profitable use which includes:

• To support our quarterly cohorts in terms of rewarding or incentivizing participants at the end of the cohort.

• A part goes into community marketing in terms of producing merch, sponsoring or partnering with communities in real-life web3 events and also other reputable marketing strategies for wider outreach.

• In empowering some members of our community in their web3 careers by providing resources that will ease or elevate their tech and web3 journey.

CONCLUSION

In conclusion, we believe that Alphablocks is well-positioned to leverage the Greenpill x Octant funding round to advance our mission of educating individuals about Web3 technology and empowering them to participate meaningfully in the decentralized future. By taking part in this round and leveraging our educational expertise, resources, and community reach, we are confident that we can contribute to the growth and success of Greenpill and Octant's ecosystem while driving adoption and innovation in the broader Web3 ecosystem.
