ArbitrumNewsDAO (ANDAO) is a fun DAO focused on Arbitrum and purely run by donations! We help all Arbitrum new startups to build their communities!

In the nearly 3 years since the inception of ArbitrumNewsDAO (ANDAO), we have assisted in at least 300 Arbitrum startup projects in build their communities. For example, we have hosted more than 150 Twitter Space and Discord AMA events for these projects, averaging one event per week. Additionally, we have supported their personalized activities more than 100 times, such as giveaways, beta tests, hackathons, and more. We remain dedicated to realizing ArbitrumNewsDAO's original vision: helping all Arbitrum startup projects build their initial communities.

ANDAO holds significant influence in the Arbitrum ecosystem. Over the past 3 years, ANDAO's Twitter account has accumulated 80k followers, and its Discord community boasts 20k members. Since its inception, ANDAO has published nearly 20k posts (including retweets and quotes). The total views of all these posts exceed 10 million, with nearly 100k retweets, quotes, and likes. The most viewed post has garnered 1.1 million views. Each Space event hosted by ANDAO averages over 200 participants, and the average number of participants in giveaway events exceeds 10k.

As is well known, due to legal reasons, the Arbitrum Foundation's official account cannot promote any token-related news or activities. Additionally, the Arbitrum Foundation's official account has always provided limited support for startup projects, even though these projects are crucial for the development of the Arbitrum DAO. Therefore, ANDAO's continuous efforts are highly significant for the Arbitrum DAO.

We hope to keep ANDAO running. However, since ANDAO has always refused to charge promotion fees, accepting only voluntary donations, and did not receive any DAO airdrop in last year's ARB airdrop event, ANDAO's funds are becoming increasingly strained. It is feared that it will be difficult to sustain the basic operations of the team in the future, so we hope to obtain some grants from Arbitrum DAO.
