Ethereum-based initiative for securing land to enhance biodiversity, offering impact certificates to landowners committed to environmentally beneficial practices, currently mapping 50 hectares under stewardship agreements.
BÚAN_fund is an Ethereum based framework to secure land for the benefit of biodiversity, restoring and regenerating nature.
We mint impact certificates backed by the land in our treasury to support landowners who have signed our Site Specific Stewardship Agreement'. The SSSA verifies they are the owners of the land and stipulates management actions that they agree to implement.
Currently we have 50 hectares with stewardship agreements and many more hectares beginning their onboarding process. Completing orthomosaic maps of the first sites is now the priority.
A lot of work has been done to pull together all of the data we have into a clean and compact explorer that we are excited to share with you.
