Seeking funding to establish “Buidlers,” an online hub for Latin American Web3 developers, offering resources, events, workshops, and tools to foster collaboration and innovation in Spanish-speaking communities.

We are pleased to present our grant application to support our initiative called “Buidlers”, an online community for Web3 developers in Latin America and in Spanish.
We are a group of Web3 developers from Latin America, and as members of several OG communities in Latam, we have seen the need to reconnect industry leaders with the community. We are seeking a community with quality content that is free, decentralized, and avoids middlemen who want to monetize the community and its resources.

Unifying the Web3 Developer Community in Spanish

Buidlers initiative seeks to unify the diverse Web3 developer communities in Spanish, to create an online platform that becomes a shared resource center and support for Web3 developers. The platform will include learning resources, Wikis, FAQs, collaboration opportunities, and a tool that integrates AI as a method for solving complex problems.

Events and Workshops in Latin America

In addition to the platform, we will use the grant to organize events and workshops throughout Latin America and in Spanish. These events will include workshops, bootcamps, hackathons, and other events that help developers learn and collaborate.

Tools for the Community

We would also like to develop specific tools for the Spanish-speaking web3 developer community, such as open-source libraries, testing and validation tools, and anything else that developers may need to create web3 applications in Spanish.

Creating a Strong and United Community

Buidlers initiative aims to create a strong and united community of Web3 developers in Spanish who collaborate to build innovative and disruptive decentralized applications throughout Latin America. Through our online platform, events, and tools, we hope to encourage learning and collaboration amongst developers, help develop more robust and secure Web3 applications, and increase diversity and inclusion in the blockchain industry.

We would like to request a grant to support our Buidlers initiative. This funding would allow us to:

  • build our online platform
  • organize events and workshops
  • develop specific tools for the Spanish-speaking web3 developer community
  • research the possibility of creating mentoring and tutoring opportunities for new or less experienced developers

We appreciate your consideration of our grant application and look forward to the opportunity to discuss our project with you in more detail.
